When it comes to wider emergency exits, many standard double fire exit doors can be a weak link in a building’s security. Our PAS 24 Fire Exit Door offers additional security offering Secured by Design poliice accredited protection whilst maintaining the ease of exit.
Each door is manufactured from galvanised steel, featuring a 50mm thick door leaf reinforced with steel dog bolts and a full-length jemmy bar lip. Unlike standard fire exits, these doors are specifically engineered and tested to the PAS 24:2022 standard, ensuring it can withstand professional-grade attack methods.
For emergency use, the door is equipped with a high-quality, CE-marked 2-point panic bar on the active leaf and spring bolts on the passive leaf. This allows for a single action escape, meeting all UK building and fire safety regulations, and easy opening for a wider exit if needed. On the exterior, the door remains flush and secure, with optional outer access handles available if entry is required.
Finished in a durable powder coat and supplied with a DDA-compliant threshold as standard, these fire exit doors are suitable for warehouses, retail units, and office blocks requiring both safety and security.
